The Ports and Terminals Group (PTG) is dedicated to the export interests of its members in ports development, supply chain logistics and related security industries. Its mission is to help all member companies obtain world-wide business in port development, supply chain management and related security systems.

PTG brings together proven technological, commercial, legal and financial skills under one banner to secure major development contracts. Specialist contract awards have included ports security systems, x-ray surveillance of containers, loading systems and oceanic engineering support services.

PTG organises a number of member workshops including port security, shipping/forwarding logistics and project finance.

PTG is a constituent association under the umbrella of the Society of Maritime Industries. It has its own council that meets regularly to discuss matters of business interest to members and related policy issues.
